Farmily is a smart, AI-powered mobile application designed to help farmers make better decisions, improve crop productivity, and reduce losses. The app acts as a digital farming assistant, giving farmers access to practical insights without requiring them to have advanced agricultural knowledge.
Farmers can use their smartphones to identify crop diseases by taking a picture of a plant, receive recommendations on suitable crops and planting periods, monitor weather conditions, and get personalised advice on irrigation, fertiliser application, and pest control. The AI analyses information such as crop type, soil conditions, weather data, and images uploaded by the farmer to provide recommendations tailored to their specific farm.
The platform can also provide early warnings about potential droughts, heavy rainfall, pest outbreaks, or crop diseases, allowing farmers to take action before significant damage occurs. By combining artificial intelligence, weather data, image recognition, and agricultural knowledge, the app essentially puts a virtual agricultural advisor in the farmer's pocket.
